Quan Yin says . . .

Parents of children must be their drama creator as well as their teacher. All children need drama in their lives to learn the lessons of their contract. Without drama they will not mature with the awareness that is needed for the contribution they came to make. When a child comes into your life, regardless of the genetic connection, be honest, be active in contributing your desires for its growth, and also do not allow the child to dominate the relationship. Their friends can do more lasting damage than you can imagine. Give them good lessons about following their inner guidance. The bravest of mothers are those with one child, because a single child is not able to discuss your actions with another. Challenge the child as a matter of course. You are not meant to be your child's "best friend."
